OVA Timeline

Kiriya is an elite assassin for the Phantom Tribe. She has blue skin, with red marks on her face (possibly tribal tattoos of some sort) and long raven-black hair that covers half her face. She wears a tight fitting orange outfit that she covers with a black cloak.

Kiriya is an assassin and is in service to Galus. Her mission is to kill Makoto as he poses as Princess Fatora, a mission that meets with failure when her illusionary powers are rendered useless by Nanami Jinnai and she is defeated and killed by the Muldoon Priestesses during a failed assassination attempt at the Arliman Hot Springs.

Unfortunately, that is about all we see of her as she dies relatively early. Her death doesn’t even warrant an emotive response from Galus, who only voices his disappointment with her failure to complete her mission.

Manga Timeline

In this timeline, Kiriya is not so much an assassin, but more of a Phantom saboteur. She first appears under the palace, delaying the Alliance party so Jinnai can activate Ifurita first.

After she evades capture there, she returns by aiding the Phantom Tribe soldiers trying to prevent the Alliance from reclaiming the Stairway to the Sky. Once again, however, she is exposed by Nanami Jinnai and killed by the Muldoon Priestesses. She is, notably, not the luckiest member of the Phantom Tribe.
