Speaking of EH as a clone thing... how bout an Clone series of El-Hazard? The title: Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure. It is described as "El Hazard meets Evangelion". Designed by those guys who gave you Tenchi. You got the alternate world formula, the giant robots and a boy flocked by a bunch of girls.

I heard there were a lot of defective disks in the initial release. I guess they've got that sorted out by now, though. I'm not yet into DVD's... Still pretty unaffordable here in my country... All my movies are in VCD format... poor me... Currently, i'm gearin' up to watch Cowboy Bebop; just got the 3rd disk (eps 6-8) last week. After that, Full metal panic...

Yup, I remember having read that in some magazine when i was in the 4th grade; I loved BTTF then, even tried making a DeLorean Replica outta my Old RC.
And the sequels, as Rob said, were never meant to be... but they were. I remember that there was no "To be continued" when the film was featured on local television. BetaMax was the "in" media than.
Rob Z. and Steven S. rule.

I agree. Elisabeth Shue was so young then, and Lea Thomson was still Hot. The only thing i see "incorrect" in the film was the fasion sense of the fulture (2014, was it...?) ... it was basically the "roaring 80's" meets star trek.

Okay, who of you have seen Evangelion? (TV + EoE) I just finished watching it completely (after over 3 years of trying to get my hands on a copy) and it was so twisted, I had to re-run Chobits just to recover from the psychological anguish.

Stimulates the mind... brings back memories when i first watched AMG! without any subtitles... and the conversations i make up with my friend when we see our peer borrowing a car from his father...
Father: <Sternly looks at son> Are you gonna take some bimbo and get jiggy with her in my car? Son: <Shakes his head> Of course not! Father: <Points inside the car> Just make sure you change the seat covers when you're done.
