(Even laterer reply)
Sorry you're no longer proud of your fanfic-ish translation. Sort of reminds me of the AMV I made years ago but could never be fully satisfied with it (even now).
I just wanted to say that even after maybe a decade and a couple dead computers, I still think fondly of the port. Fortunately the GBA version is still very much attainable, although kind of needs to be played side by side with the Sega Saturn if you want to see any artworks. So thanks for putting it together all the same.

*Rob shatters stinko's fleeting hope that the series might one day be remade with newer animation.*

Hi. I'm afraid the lack of responses is not anything against you, but a testament to the relative inactivity of this forum. If you take a look at this particular section "Non-El-Hazard Topical Discussions", the last post before yours was in 2007. I myself am almost always inactive, so perhaps I am one of the worst people to speak on behalf of the inactivity of the forums. But I believe the post frequency speaks for itself.
What I'm getting at is it may take a long time to get to know people here. However, you might have more luck posting in the "El-Hazard Online" section. It was by chance I noticed the 2010 timestamp here since the bottom two sections hadn't been posted on in years.

Ah nice, I'm seeing a lot of new content on the site map now. *clicks random character page.* Arielle Relryle? I never bothered to learn her full name, but that's a pretty good one. Think she could have had more r's, l's, and e's in that name? Rel ree? Ok, so for content there's a few things I thought were outdated. I think most notably I was always wondering why this site lacked a cosplay section. Ok, so at least shortly after I found the site I looked on my own some ~5 years ago and didn't find squat. But surprisingly there's some decent photos out there now. Not a huge amount obviously, but enough to devote a page to at least. I've got a small collection myself but am currently in the process of expanding. The doujin section is also fairly out of date. I probably have a complete collection of anything you can find online, although I can't tell just how many you're lacking since I can't view it anymore (I guess due to logins being temporarily out?). There were even a couple translated, which is kind of remarkable. And, the fanart section is probably out of date, but that may be nitpicking since it's already pretty big. I'd at least like to see the life-sized Ifurita they had at the Tokyo Anime Fair 2008 added somewhere, although I haven't been able to find many pictures of it. Might be a hair too big for a figurine though.

Hey, updates! Looks like my inactive ass chose the right time to drop by.
I don't really know much about the site's history, or even how long it's been around. Archive.org dates the domain to 2002 though, so I can see where it's been maintained for quite some time. I remember back in 2002, I made a fansite for a game. It looked like crap since I had just learned some basic html to throw the thing together, but I kept it updated nearly every day and kept adding content to try and draw whatever few viewers it had back. But after about a year I'd had my fill and abandoned it. So around now you've been running this site for about 8x what I put into that one. I understand what kind of commitment that is, and I really appreciate it.
And if you're going to be overhauling the site, I might have some content ideas if you want them. But if you're just planning to merge content from The Wanderers' Guide to El-Hazard: The Magnificent World, that's fine too.

I could put it on youtube but I wouldn't want to maul the quality that way. That and I'd probably have to make some kind of credit page.

So about 4 years ago I made an EH AMV for myself that I never intended to release. I recently got the urge to watch it again, so I dug it up out of my old hard drives. Unfortunately I could only find the first half, so I had to recreate the 2nd half from memory. I still liked what I got in the end, so I decided to go ahead and release it to any other EH fans who might be interested in something new. This is the only AMV I've ever done, so there's no special effects, but most of the timing works out pretty well. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CTS4NPEA

Possibly that goofy bug suit he was wearing in the second OVA, though I'd know nothing of how to make costumes.

Considering the fact that Ifurita sent Makoto and the others to El Hazard before she even left it, the mode of transportation to El Hazard crosses over time as well as dimensions (otherwise Makoto would have gotten there 10,000 years too late). Even if these people leave to El Hazard 10 years after Makoto, you do not necessarily need to make them arive 10 years later.

Jinnai laughYour ass is mineYour ass is mine with ending chuckleThe Jinnai laugh sequence is the clearest possible from the OVA (@ least I'm pretty sure that one is). If you want a particular scene's laugh, then you'll have to tell me which scene you want. Be aware that I can't remove the other noises from the background. Side note: The quote goes "PS: Your ass is finally mine," so I didn't cut out anything.

I h8te to revive dead and/or old topics, but just yesterday I saw a spectacular El Hazard amv that wasn't mentioned in here (I assume because it's too recent?). If you go to http://www.animemusicvideos.org and search by anime, on the second page of the El Hazard OVA 2 you'll see an AMV put up by Trilaan called Fujisawa Can't Get Sober (2005-04-26). And after seeing that, damn.. I don't know of hubba hubba zoot zoot is my favorite Hazard AMV anymore. Just like when I first saw hubba hubba zoot zoot, I just can't get enough of this one.
