Read it!
Still don't have much to comment on, though - much like the prologue, this is basically an establishing chapter, letting us know where the characters are and what they are doing. There's still little sign of what sort of plot you have in store, and when that starts to come together is when the comments should really start rolling.
It IS rather interesting that the prologue and the first chapter, in addition to being eleven years and millions of miles apart, don't seem to have any real connection to one another. I'm sure that that mystery will be solved, though, as you continue writing.
