Locales/The Shrine of Water

From EHOL

This location appears in all the timelines except the OVA timeline.

There reside on El-Hazard, three sage and wise chief priestesses whom serve and uphold the most holy of holy traditions. Not only do they uphold the dogma of the ancient El-Hazardian religion, but they also act as warriors and protectors in times of great duress. So where exactly do these great and wise priestesses live? At one of three possible holy shrines.

The Shrine of Water is where the chief priestess of water makes her residence. It is located near a river and water surrounds the entire structure along with elegant and simple columns and surrounding the Shrine are decorations representing the flow of blue water.

Inside, rests the ancient knowledge of the previous water priestesses and is only accessible to those in service to the holy Shrine. Currently, two blue haired twin shrine maidens serve the chief priestess in her duties.

The Shrine serves a secondary purpose as apparently it acts a water pumping station for several areas of El-Hazard that have plumbing, such as Floristica. A mass of machinery and pipes rest under the Shrine. Maintaining these systems probably also falls into the realm of duties that the chief priestess must do.

Currently, the Shrine is undergoing massive repairs after briefly being converted into a water theme park, which unfortunately overtaxed the before mentioned pipes. All guilty parties shall remain nameless however, as they have already been punished.
