Ok, I know this question has probably been asked before, and that this forum is probably dead, but I was hoping someone here would know the name of the song that plays at the end of the 2nd OVA. I can't find it on any of the CD's and it's driving me nuts. It's such a beautiful song!

Hi! At least to me the forum isn't dead, it's just that El-Hazard isn't that popular anymore, so EHOL won't be as visited... However, I have the RSS subscribed, so I see when new posts are up.  ;D

I think the song you're looking for is Nemurenai yoru niha (The Night we have trouble to go to Sleep). Is the last track of the OVA2 OST (track n. 25) and is also in the first CD of the El-Hazard 6CD Boxset, track n. 3.
I'd have to confirm it by actually listen to the song and the DVD, but please note that the song is 5 mins long, so the music used in the ending may the a shortened version.

If you're referring to the song played in episode four when Ifurita #2 is reflecting on Yuba, it is called "Kioku" and was sung by Maria Kawamura. It is available on CD, but only as part of the 6-cd box set mention in the previous post.

Yep, Kioku is the one, thanks. I used to have it but I lost the cd when I moved. I was hoping I'd be able to find it again somewhere, it's so pretty.

Ah, I'm glad Makoto is around, as I didn't notice that the OVA2 episodes had different endings.  ^^;

I'm still learning stuff about El-Hazard, even today!  ^_^V

Not sure if your still looking, since I only recently joined the forum, but I have close to all the El-Hazard sound tracks, least all the ones I know of.
I'm 99% sure I have the one you are looking for, as an MP3 tack, could email it if your interested.
The other option would be to record the end track off the DVD with a computer, shouldn't be too hard to do these days.

Nowadays, the best way to get this song is to look for the El-Hazard 6CD Boxset on eBay. It does show up once in a while and as far as I'm aware, its price is coming down over the years.
It may take a while to appear, but patience is very rewarding on this kind of stuff.  :)

Hey, come on! i am from Brazil, things here are difficult! i can't buy a 6cd box set for a song. I know it is not usual for you hear this kind of things. But another countries things are not so easy. Unfortunately... :'( If someone can help me send to my e-mail saikouferreira@yahoo.com.br
