How do I 'log in' at main site?

Over at the main site, I wanted to look at manga covers but was told I had to be "logged in" to do so.  Then, I was told there was no such user name as mine.  So, erm, what's the catch?

That's because the page doesn't exist yet. Therefore only a wiki user can create it, hence the message. 
As I said in the post about the wiki, some pages weren't done in time for the 15th anniversary.
All the red links in the wiki are empty pages, and therefore on those you'll always get that message. Hopefully they won't be empty for too long.

Yeah, sorry.  That will probably be a little confusing for a while.  Wonder if the Wiki's log-in page can be worded to be very specific saying that a forum user and a Wiki user is not the same thing?
