Ok, I think I'm getting on an off-topic streak here, but anyway... Rob, did you see the Fox Box? This week they apparently made a commerical for... Back to the Future, next week? My guess is that this is a new Back to the Future series. :O

Anyway... blah... let me go back to FoxBox again.  don't want to miss the new TMNT Series. :O (Not that I really care for their dubbed anime, though. Their anime dubs are.... blllleeeehhhhh... XP)

Is it really new?  Or just rerunning the old show from way back when?  A shame I don't GET FoxBox... or any cable at all! XP

I wonder if there's any hope of seeing it on Fox standard...

FoxBox isn't cable. It's just the current Saturday morning block that replaced Fox Kids for... God knows how long. It SHOULD be local.

And According to Blaze, this'll probably be the old cartoon series. o_O

"Back to the Future" is a trilogy of movies.  It also had a cartoon behind it (I believe it was 26 episodes approximately).

What was funny in geography? And what does Geography have to do with any of this topic?

It doesn't.

This topic is about... Back to the Future.

On that note, who's got the DVDs?

My brother does. He got them for his birthday. All three of them. I watched the second and third ones. Elijah wood is so cute in the second one, so what if he only gets two or three lines?

Larewen - "My brother does."

That's funny, because my older brother got them.  Back to the Future, I believe, is one of the best movies ever made (or maybe it's because I like Science Fiction and Comedy genres, which this movie is).

I agree.
Elisabeth Shue was so young then, and Lea Thomson was still Hot.
The only thing i see "incorrect" in the film was the fasion sense of the fulture (2014, was it...?) ... it was basically the "roaring 80's" meets star trek.

2015.  But yeah, on the DVD features the creators themselves said something to the effect "We know our version of the future will be wrong, so we just chose to generally make fun of the cliches."

Of course, they hadn't intended to make ANY of the sequels.  BTTF1 was supposed to end and BE the end.  (The VHS release was the first thing to append "To be Continued..." to the end of it.  The movie release didn't have that because of course there was no assumption.)  One thing they also noted is that they'd never have put Jennifer in the car if they knew that sequels would follow; it was only to be a gag that they later had to take literally.

Yup, I remember having read that in some magazine when i was in the 4th grade; I loved BTTF then, even tried making a DeLorean Replica outta my Old RC.

And the sequels, as Rob said, were never meant to be... but they were. I remember that there was no "To be continued" when the film was featured on local television. BetaMax was the "in" media than.

Rob Z. and Steven S. rule.

I think you're right about that... Bob? Confirmation?

Oh, and incidentally, Huey Lewis was the one who told them they were "Just too darn loud" when auditioning in the beginnning of the first movie. If you didn't know-- (I only know cos Bob is the BTTF trivia man...)
