Here's the sad truth, little Lar...

If you told the whole, true story, it does not sell as well as giving a "SHOCK!" headline.

Here's a made up story...

"A man was found walking down the street talking on his cell phone paying no attention to the lights.  A car came around the corner going 5 miles faster than the 35 MPH speed limit.  The man walked down the crosswalk and gets struck by the car.  He was pinned underneath the car."

Here's what someone else would like to put up...

"A man was walking down the street when a deranged driver going much too fast struck this responsible person, sending him underneath the car."

Which do you think would sell better?

Yeah, there's a lot of rumors floating about.

A lot of people actually think Courtney killed Kurt, because of various facts floating around.

Personally, I've not decided one way or the other, but I don't think Kurt Cobain would have liked to cause disagreements or ill feelings because of it, so his memory should just be laid to rest.  :-/

Well, it still happened, whether it was unintentional or not.  But... I'm sorry if I was casting asparagus on anyone's favorite performer.  I guess I shouldn't go off on musicians with notable drug habits, since one of my favorites is Syd Barrett.

(All the young'uns are now thinking:  "Syd who?")

I've heard of a second Nirvana.  I think they were a psychedelic garage band from the late 1960s/early 1970s?  But I don't know a third one, unless you're counting an earlier incarnation of Cobain's group.

I probably ought to know the spaceship, but all I can think of is the space station Nerva, from one of my Doctor Who DVDs.
