I'd have to say it's just you in this case.  It merely reminds me of an electronics Y network, something very valid and something I know not a lot about.

I also like how in BTTF3 the entire machine seems to operate with much ugly sparking using the analog circuitry including the flux capacitor which instead of just glowing a healthy blue glow, gives off an orange-ish glow and lots of nasty looking sparks shooting off it internally.
