Can I offer a suggestion? I moderate a mailing list for the International Costumers Guild. You don't have to be a member of the ICG to take part in the list, but believe me, these people have seen and done it all, and more than willing to share their knowledge. If you're interested, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ICG-D/ for more information. JSM

You know, I might almost have felt guilty about upgrading ME for XP on my previous machine after seeing that...except the damn thing always bluescreened me when I tried to shut down. That goes a long way toward assauging guilt.

Well then--if he gets a demon goddess sitting on his face, I want an air priestess!
Or a fire priestess. I'm not picky.

Maybe I will be the target of some wraths for asking this, but... Exactly what is bad about the Ayeka Fan Club anyway? Most of the people are nice, but again, that one moderator just ruins it for everyone. JSM

We had better be careful-- the Ayeka Fan Club sees all and knows all.
I have it on very good authority that one of the AFC's moderators comes around here quite a bit and has even posted...about, say, 71 times or so.

Well, this is interesting, especially given the AIC interview/article in the latest Newtype mentions that Hayashi is working on a new series having to do with an alternate dimension. Now, that could mean a great deal of things, but admittedly the first thing that came to mind was "El-Hazard".

Of course, nothing's stopping you from archiving whatever you want. From everything that I've heard, authors of fanfiction seeking actual legal protection never actually get any, so if they don't like what you've done, all they can do is fume, threaten, and flame you. I'm guessing you want to be a Good archivist, rather than an Evil archivist, so get permission before you archive anything!
No, but they can complain to your ISP and cause you grief that way. And at any rate, you certainly don't want to piss people off unnecessarily, so do the smart thing and ask permission. More importantly, heed the author's wishes. Question, though--what purpose would your archive serve if everything is already available on ff.net or on someone's site already? I'm one of those people who doesn't want his work posted anywhere other than my own site or fanfiction.net. If you want to post a link to where my stories are located, that's fine, but I've been burned a few times in the last 20 years and so I've learned to err on the side of extreme caution. JSM

You know, I will be the first to admit that there's a hell of a lot in the anime universe I know nothing about...
...but I'm fairly certain that Mr. Saturn is something I don't want to find out about...

Nuns, nuthin'. You want to take care of business, call in the Jesuits. My father-in-law tells about his days at a Jesuit high school where it was nothing to see a brother attempt to pass an unruly student's head through the blackboard.

...blink... Huh. I just always considered it to be a situation like the Earth 1/Earth 2 scenario in DC Comics, that these worlds sit side-by-side at different vibratory rates. You go with what sounds right, I guess. JSM

I scored 75%. Probably most of that is because I never really watched "Wanderers" all that closely. Except for the Afura scenes, of course. I am stunned at how much I recalled from Alt World. I've got most of that piecemeal--some tapes, some DVDs. JSM

I'm curious what "I´m" was supposed to be.
But yes, here we are, hiding in our little tower. I need better opening lines. I think it's a case of "my apostrophes didn't translate too well when I pasted this into the message board box". JSM
