Actually, it was something I made myself.

I also made a pic of Jinnai brutally disemboweling that swine Makoto, but I thought it best to leave it in my private collection.

Hey, random violence is the best way to convince others of differing views to fall in line with your own!

BWA HAH HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ha! You think what I've done so far is great? Well, my friend, you ain't seen nothin yet!

Jinnai's greatness flows through me! I am his vessel, and he is my... um, controlling otherworld..ly thing. Yeah.

Anyway, behold the might of the LORD GOD JINNAI! I'll fry all my enemies into a crispy, crunchy snackfood, and feed their corpses to the starving bugs of the world!

Let no one say I was never kind.  ;)

Anyway, that is one wonderful pic. I shall save it to my hard drive and stare at it for hours and hours. *dreams of Makoto death scenes* Ahh...

...

... got anything more bloody?

In the spirit of reviving old threads, I am here to ask a semi-legitimate question.

What would be considered as an "explicit" image? Something merely sexual, or anything that has the capacity to offend someone? I'm asking because I am thinking of putting in a sig pic which has Jinnai... um,showing his appreciation to the audience with his middle finger. Now, this doesn't offend me at all (on the contrary; I find it extremely funny) but it might offend someone else. Can I put it up?

Hello there. The more aware of you may have noticed me posting around here lately. Silly me though, I forgot to introduce myself.

I am the Lord God Jinnai, known in some circles as Master, and yet in others as Phillipe. You can call me the former, but not the latter, cause the latter makes me angry as it is an insult to the former being what I care to be called.

Anyway, you may now post your adulations of me, for I am sure we shall be very good friends. I'm a nice guy. Really.

Don't knock the Jinnai blood, my friend. It keeps you healthy and strong, with a full head of thick, combable hair.

Heh... oh well, I guess Chabil should look at the bright side. At least the writers "dropped" him before Rune Venus did.

That, though, doesn't really explain why neither Rune Venus nor any of the rest of the cast EVER comment on the guy. Or even look at all sad about his loss.

My personal theory is this: Not long after Chabil is seen for the last time, Afura Mann comes flying in to the rescue, even though she was with the group before. I think that she carried Chabil to safety, and was just then returning to do the same for Rune Venus and Mr. Fujisawa. So, knowing that Chabil was safe, Rune Venus was free to return to the rigors of palace life with no further regrets.

Of course, there's no evidence to prove this, but I think it's a nice, positive, elegant solution to what is a rather deplorable dangling plot-thread. :P

Neh, I prefer the utlra-violent Falling Off the Stupid Floating Island theory. The thought of that dumb farmer plummeting to his obscure death, then having his friends forget about him ten seconds later, is to me the FUNNIEST thing in all of El Hazard.

Hand Maid May, eh? I must pick that up as soon as I get the chance. I already own most of the shows and movies Bob Marx has been in, including Perfect Blue, Trigun, and of course El Hazard.

Too bad he isn't in too many things, although that does make collecting his stuff easier...

In a serious, fair fight, who would win? Makoto or Jinnai?

I believe that if Jinnai actually put aside his stupid plots and left his Bugrom at home, he'd kick Mizuhara's wimpy ass but good. Just take a look at the beginning of the OAV, when Makoto ran away from him. Or in the tv series, when they had that sword fight. Jinnai was doing pretty good, blocking all of Makoto's girly swings, until of course the end when he thought his idiotically constructed plan backfired.
