You become my loyal toadie, eh? Hmm...

Well, I don't know. I've got pretty high standards you know. I expect my minions to be efficient, ruthless, cunning, and merciless in their intent.

Groucho: *falls off the roof*

Harpo: *runs around in panic as the cake he was baking is on fire*

Ifurita: Um, Master? I think I accidentally posted our Top Secret military doctrines on the internet. Is there an "undo" button?

You got the job.  -_-*

Indeed. My very own self portrait, made by me to show my utter disdain... er, I mean sheer love for all the people of the world. Marvel at the brush strokes and color, notice the magnificent likeness to the real thing! This work of art is sheer genius, worthy to grace the walls of any fine museum establishment.

Grrr... Kalia, that traitor! How dare she try to blow up the world without permission! Lack of discipline is what's wrong with kids today. They never listen to you, no matter how much you rant and rave. Ugh.

El-Hazard Online / Favorite Makoto Moment
« on: July 24, 2003, 12:18:44 pm »
What was the best moment Makoto ever had in any of the series? Sure there were a ton of them, like dressing up as a girl (freak) or the time he kept drowning at the end of every Wanderers episode. But what was Makoto's greatest moment, the one that truly marked him as the simpering douchebag that he is?

For me, it was that time in Wanderers after he fought Jinnai in a swordfight. He was about to save Rune, but then her kite broke away and she flew off. Makoto was so dumb that he fell off the Bugrom hive's roof, plunking down fifty feet like a sack of sorry potatos and began rolling down the side. I watched that scene every day for a week. Twice.

So, what was your favorite Makoto moment?

Actually, Doom 3 was ready to ship more than a year ago. It's just that with the game so graphic-intensive, even the most sophisticated graphics card at the time could not possibly have run it. They decided to delay it until most home computers caught up, but this doesn't really seem wise since Half Life 2 is coming out this winter, and that blows away anything Doom 3 has going for it.

What makes it even worse is that the developers are refusing to put in an option to modify the graphical output fo the game. This means only high-end users can ever hope to play it. So either save up your pennies, or get Half Life 2.  :)

Well, actually, Jinnai seems comfortable around ALL the Bugrom. He pals around with Groucho, and doesn't seem too squeamish about his troops' proximity to his person. I doubt he'd mind too much a giant bug was pouring him tea and wine or serving him food and stuff, as he accepted food and other treats from the Bugrom who found him when he first arrived.

It's when they try to mate with him that's the problem. He likes bugs, but not that much.  :-/

Well, I played it at E3, and found it to be pretty good. I doubt I'd buy all the accessories for the PS2 that comes with it though, my budget is a bit lacking at the moment. If I were to buy it, I'd probably get the PC version. Unfortunately I don't really have the time for MMORPGs anymore; those bastards eat up a hellava lotta precious hours.

Chrystal Chronicles and FF X-2 were pretty fun to play; I'll most likely get those instead.

Here's my take on the "Jinnai freaking out when Diva wanted to boff him" scene:

In Alternative World, remember the scene with the White Bugrom Queen? When they fled the lair, her woman image shifted and she was revealed to have more insect-like form.

Now what if this illusion were true of the El Hazard Bugrom queen as well? What if she were just presenting an illusion of a female woman to fool her human enemies?

What if along with the ability to understand Bugrom, Jinnai could also see through Diva's disguise? Maybe he's known all along that Diva was really just a giant bug.

I don't know about you guys, but being forced into mating with a gigantic insect would make me scream in horror.

Ah, my fans flock to me.

Well, fans, in order to answer your questions, let me take them one at a time in the order they were presented:

No, we're just friends.

Because none of the others appreciate true fashion.

No.

No.

They can wear clothes, they just don't feel like it.

Well, now that that nonsense is over and done with, I DEMAND that you fools bow down to me and submit to my magnificently superior power. You have twenty minutes to do so, or I shall send my invincible army to... huh? Hey, wait a minute! Who blew up my invincible army?!

IFURITA!!! YOU IDIOOOOOOOOT!!!
