EHO is a great place, and I commend you Rob for sticking with it for nearly 5 years now We all have the memories of days past, and the site has been (and hopefully will continue to be ) a great resource for the rest of the web. I'm sorry I kinda just 'died' back in late 2004, I was so caught up in alot of other things, new interests popping up and whatnot, though EH still holds a special place for me. Got addicted to Twelve Kingdoms, and I have been finally getting around to watching Great Teacher Onizuka as well. Eureka 7 has caught my interest too. I look forward to seeing where you go with Azumanga Daioh, Ill be sure to check it out Cheers for a job well done PS: Im always online on my aim (TheRavenIsDead) If you guys want to chat.

Pan (bread) comes from the portuguese word pão (also bread). As far as arigato is concerned, I don't think it has a portuguese relation (as far as I can see  ) because "Thank you" in portuguese is Obrigado....
Drop the b, harden the d and ya got Origa(t)o.  Sounds close. Could have been the way the japanese prnounced it over time, after hearing it for a while. Unless arigato isnt portugese in nature to begin with ^.^;

I just spent about six hours trying to post the EHOL Round Robin to FanFiction.Net, with one turn per chapter.
Apparently, FF.Net does not support stories longer than 200 chapters. Â And apparently, FF.Net does not offer a warning when a story exceeds this limit. Â The story simply disappears.
I went to the Help page for an e-mail address to request recovery of my incomplete story, if possible. Â I got this message: And then, I got this message via e-mail. I've been locked out of my account until January 9th, literally for no reason.
On January 10th, I will delete my fan fiction from FanFiction.Net. Â Between their asinine upload filters (exactly why is it necessary to filter out asterisks and underscores?), their shoddy treatment of some fan-fiction friends of mine (here's the latest example), and this, I've had enough.
I still have a nice clean story-only version of the Round Robin. Â I'll put it on echoalpha.com, and I'll look into MediaMiner.org and the Tenchi Muyo! archive (I think there's enough TM! content to slide it in there) as time allows, and after I've cooled down.
If someone else wants to post it to The Pit Of Voles, then they can copy my work from echoalpha.com, and they can deal with those damn-fool user-hostile idiots themselves.
What a buncha a**holes. Ima delete my (small) work too, I dun want to support a site that ends up treating its users like dirt... I'm sorry you hadta go through that.

On the 15th, McDonalds Canada started selling 6 types of toasted deli-style sandwiches. I was kinda shocked, cause I went to McDs the day they were unveiled, and I hadta take a second look. Never really thought McDs would go the Subway/Quiznos route Surprisngly, they are actually good. Made fresh, just like at the other places. I love the Turkey BLT n_n V. http://www.mcdonalds.ca/en/index.aspxYou can see stuff on em above. They have em in the US, or is it just a Canada thing?

I didnt mind AW. Great? no. Good? no. Below average at best. The plot holes really put me off at times. But I didnt hate it outright.
If they manage to seal up the holes in the 3rd OAV, then maybe I'll like it more than I did.

I could think of many ways it could play out in a 3rd OAV.
They could go into detail about how Makoto finally achieves his goal of bringing Ifurita back to El Hazard. Or they could have an adventure involving Earth itself. Personally Id like to see that, but I dont know if that would be the way it would play out.
Though after reading Ken Wolfe's awesome El Hazard: Earth fanfic, I dunno if any sequal could ever live up to it. That was a masterful piece of writing. But I'm sure they can pull off a great continuation.
In any case, Id rather have a new EH series than no EH at all.

Now THIS is news I've been waiting to hear for a long time. Even if it still can only be considered speculation, This is way better than hearing nothing at all. BTW, sorry about the new account. HasWeb went into lockdown during a profile update a few days ago and deleted my second account. So here is number three. Third time is usually the charm, eh?
