I've got one that's not on that list. It isn't particularly good, but it's still an amv.
Enigma-Return to Innocence. It's a mushy love ballad type amv starring Makoto and Ifurita.

wow. I was planning on doing the EXACT SAME THING for a staff of my own. The problem with me is that I would want to carry it around as a prop at a con. Because the balls are glass, they can't hold the weight of the staff together.
If you could bend some sheet metal and create small frame that would go around the outside of the ball (so an audience can't see it) and connect to the other piece of the staff, that would work.

*sigh* I don't really have much to contribute to this topic, other than Helio sounds like a very nice person, and that I have heard that there is going to be an anime convention in May, though I don't know the exact date. I believe it's going to be in Richmond Virginia, but I need to check with my people on that *winks*. If anyone is interested in doing something at the convention, I know that it won't be on the exact date of the anniversary, but it might be fun anyway, and if anything, a good way to increase El-Hazard awareness.
If you're talking about Anime Central (biggest con in the mid-west), then yeah. I'll be going. That's where I plan on doing whatever I'm gonna do with my Groucho.

oooooh. Just figured out an extra challenge to add to my marathon. What if I wore my newly-constructed Groucho armor? (it's not finished yet, but it will be.)

Don't know if anyone's attempted this before, but would anyone here watch both OVAs, alternative world, wanderers, AND listen to the radio dramas in under a day (without fast-forwarding)? I'm planning on doing this in May on the 10-year anniversery. I'm gonna determine the physical strains on the human body during the process. I'll also get to see if it has any odd psychological effects on me as well. Heck, I might as well throw in the viz mangas.

Well, I decided to start organizing something of my own. I'm looking to round up a cosplay contest. Searching for spots at nearby conventions to hold fan panels or something of the sort. And yes, my groucho costume is still underway.

Well, what about Man-Yuna from TechTV's X-play ? I thought that "thing" is freaking scary! I swear, some people's passion for FFX's Yuna or female characters in general is just touching the edge of sanity... *curls into fetal position and cries for 2.5 hours* *back to normal* Damn. My Groucho's taking longer than I expected. My strive for perfection is time-consuming, but that's cosplay for yah.

oh, wait a tic. Is there some way we could drag some official El Hazard ppl (voice actors, directors, writers and such) into this?
Maybe, with enough fans.....

Well, count me in (whatever it may be).
Ya know what? By then, my Groucho Armor would be done (I took a hiatus from it). I could like, do a Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot Live Action bugrom dance thingy.
