In el-hazard, is it just me or does the person who does Nanami's voice sound just like Mihoshi from Tenchi? And Makoto's sounds like Digimon's TK.

And yes, nearly everyone who knows any animes has seen DBZ, but even then My friend Matthew doesn't have sky or cartoon network so as far as i know he hasn't seen it.

Favorite series other than Rockman? I'd have to say The Irresponsible Captain Tylor.

My favorite anime movie is most definately Metropolis.

Favorite manga... again hard... but I can definately say that Osamu Tezuka is my favorite Manga artist. Anything by him, I will buy (which is a lot of stuff).

Where it says URL... you need to insert the URL of the image... for example: (again pretend the parentheses are brackets [] )

(img)http://www.el-hazardonline.net/sarahsensei/images/cuteroc.jpg(/img)

If all goes well you should have inserted an image!

you can center your image too by using the center tags ^_^ Like I did... (for example... again the parentheses should be brackets [] )

Just remember the image has to be uploaded on the internet (you cannot link to a file on your computer).

The number three is an important number. When things are in threes people see them as balanced. You can have 2 extremes and one that is kind of in the middle.

The number 3 is important in religion as well. (The most obvious here is Christianity-- there are also three major vehicles of Buddhism etc).

On the more technical side, triangles are facinating shapes. So many mathematical problems can be solved using triangles.

Not to mention things that appear in art such as trifoils.

The number three is a sort of standard. And, as you can see, it works (and you KNOW people go with what works). The chemistry you get from the 3 different personalities in the various animes you mentioned are what make those characters so attractive. By themselves they probably wouldn't be as appealing. But when they come together comic mischief ensues!

Certain other number combinations work as well... but I myself am facinated by sets of three...

Other notable Anime Related 3's

The goddesses in The Legend of Zelda as well as the Triforce.

Rockman, Forte, and Blues form a sort of set of three (good, evil and mysterious). The same can be said of the X series between X- good, Zero- mysterious, and Sigma- evil.

Pita Ten - Misha is an angel, Shia is a demon and Kotaro is the human in the middle (the main one anyhow).

In Final Fantasy games, you traditionally have 3 members in your party (not in Final Fantasy 1 though -- you had 4).

Gundam Wing starts out with three major political groups, The Earth's Sphere Alliance, OZ and the colonies... which then divide into about 7 different factions by the end of the series O_O

You get the idea... 3 is good...

Cause i wrote a whole book which i hope to get published some day, and in the first book there is four elements (main ones anyway) and two people to each element. In the second one, there is five main elements and two to each element, not including fire cause the guy who controls fire got killed off in the first book. Don't worry, he comes back.

Geocities.com doesn't allow "offsite linking". That means that anything except text or HTML documents can't be "linked" to (accessed by the geocities web URL) from other sites (i.e. here). Many free hosting services due to this...

Recently, something surfaced that should (for now) help with the problem. An online tool used to make it so the end-reciever can't tell where you're linking from, you put it in front of your image URL like so:

http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Ginza/3258/washu/washu2.jpg

This will probably work until they catch on, anyway. An alternative trick is to rename the extention (the ".jpg" part) to ".txt", fooling Geocities into thinking its just a text file, and then they can't stop you from using it as an image. (Just don't try to open the not-really-a-text ".txt" file on your computer other then the browser!)

I like many films, especially comedies. One of my favorite comedies is called "The Big Bus" written in the 70's.

I'm not much into music. At most I listen to it, but I have no true liking to any of them.

I'll get you you bloody fairy! *Lar pulls out large sledge hammer, Lar also forgets that the fairy has the upper hand* DIE!!!!!!!!!! *See's the bulldozer fairy with a mile of bulldozers lined up and some rope* Aw heck! *Lar finds herself, once again, tied onto the road, she begins to realise that the fairy does indeed have the upper hand and that there seems to be a pattern araising* Ahhh...I think i get it now! *small, very faint light bulb appears over Lars head.* Bingo! *The first bulldozers runs over Lar, and another and another and another and I cant really be borthered typing that anymore and another and another and...aw never mind. *the light bulb gets brighter in a breif moment of realisation.* hey, shouldn't I be dead my now? Oh well, i must be invinsible! Bwhahaha!!! *the fairy is also confused, not only is Lar still alive, but she is quoting from the 'Lessons' fanfic. the fairy is worried.* Bwahahaha!!!! *the fairy is even more worried* Bwahahaha!!! *the fairy kills itself in a sudden suicidal atempt to get rid of the 'Bwahahahaing'. Another fairy pops up in place of old one. It instantly hears Lar and kills itself. This continues for a while until it finally realises that dieing is soooo not the answer.*

She has run me over with a bulldozer several times, and then pretty much everyone else, I went to hospital (for real), came out, ran away from a chainsaw and bulldozer, found the only way to kill the bulldozer fairy, roshtaria stumbled in our terrific horror room, and El threatened to kill me several times and then we had a couple of Random conversations which even i am not sure what they were about and then you came back.

I wouldn't go so far as to say most anything Lupin III is superb... Lupin III is one of the longest running anime series, and has had a lot of different people work on it (much like the James Bond series). There's some great gems there, but boy, there are some stinkers too. ^_^()

Afraid so. Which is beyond weird, since (if I recall correctly) the very FIRST episode of the second series is based upon one of the episodes from the first. The return of a long-thought-dead villain, that sort of thing.

Well, since I've got nothing better to do, I'll take up room and make myself look productive by making this small, makeshift memorial to Fluff, my recently deseased cat... (starts sobbing uncontrollably) I had her for 14 years. My cousin was 2 or 3 at the time when he named her. He wanted to name her "Fluffy" but he couldn't say that yet, so she was Fluff. She was always the sweetest cat, she'd follow you all over, trying to get your attention. She loved it when you scratched her behind the ears, but she hated to be picked up. I found out she was sick this Valentines Day, and I went over to visit her almost every day and tried to take care of her, but I guess I didn't do a good enough job... :'( I miss Fluff.

Right, now, on a lighter note, I like Chobits! ;D

Anyway Jewel, I'm sorry to hear about your kitty. Losing a cat (or any pet) you've had that long can be hard. I had a cat for 19 years. She died a couple years ago and I haven't had another pet since. I basically grew up with her, so it was almost like losing a sister.

I mean, there are people here who know loads about El Hazard, and then I come on and totally obstruct the place. I especially feel bad for getting the Cat's Meow: Fatora, locked. I had no right to bombard Tim's post with Random Pointless stuff. I shouldn't post anything saying I don't understand because I have now taught myself that if you don't understand you get yelled at. My maths teacher gets angry when you don't understand, My home economics teachers gets angry when you sit with your hand up to ask her a question etc etc. Rob and Neil yell at you for not understanding what's going on. SoI guess I don't really fit in. I mean, me, Rosh and Tim can have a laugh, but I always feel like I'm gonna get yelled at for something.
I'm sorry for causing all this trouble. It's just that, I haven't got the most happy of lives, so I come here and have a laugh with you guys. Come to get away from school and all lifes miseries and then get yelled at some more by the two angry administrators who have a problem with me not understanding anything about El Hazard.
I love El Hazard, but I don't know much about it. All I know is that it's a great Anime, and probably a great Manga too, but I wouldn't know. And that my favourite characters are Shayla Shayla, Alielle and Fatora.
Once again I'm sorry for obstructing El Hazard Online, and I hope that Rob and Neil don't get so angry with me that I get chucked off the forum.
