Title: Project N00b: EH Wallpapers
Post by: r4v3nversion2 on November 14, 2004, 05:28:42 pm: Made some EH Walls this past week. Started walling a couple of weeks ago (been an active user over at Minitokyo.net for months, never tried submitting art though XD)

Both were made in Photoshop 6.0, both are 1600x1200 in resolution, and both are available at Minitokyo.net as well.

Here's my first wall, a simple b/w using a doujinshi scan for the base. Cleaned up the scan, added texturing, etc. Not very compicated, but I like the end result.

And this one was my first 'real' wall, as it was the first I did in colour, as well as using an extracted scan. Took a scan from the Illustrations artbook, extracted and improved it by hand.
Did the starfield from scratch, added light effects, etc. Took about 8 hours total over the course of 3 days. I like how It came out.

Agreed. Although I kinda like the first one too... even though it makes me think of ancient monochrome Macs. I now have a temptation to dig out the old SE/30 I have laying around somewhere and trying to apply that as a wallpaper. :P
