I hope I still have my fan subs of Battle Programmer Shirase. There are a lot of interesting screen caps that can be made from that show ;D

There was a fighting game system called Mugen that basically allowed people to create fighting game characters and pit them against eachother on the PC (Windows and Linux). There were several characters from all the top 2d fighting games like Street Fighter and King of Fighters (and of course the requisite nudie characters which every fan-made game/mod/conversion absolutely has to have). Unfortunately it seems to have gone under and I can't find much about it anymore.

The only thing I'm worried about is if it's half a gig of OS-Tan hentai... =,]  *downloads file* ;D

Tenchi is still the greater cash cow.

If only because there are roughtly 50 seasons/series and 100 movies that all have basically nothing to do with eachother :P

Hmm... well I didn't really consider this a "bitch about your job" thread since I don't have any real problems with my current job ^^;

SmkViper runs away from an enraged forum population

*huff* *huff* too... out of shape... for this. Ok think I lost them.

Anyway, I just thought of this as a tell funny stupid customer stories. But since I don't have any customers, I have to tell stories from when I was working in retail.

And MrWhat, I feel your pain (yup, it's cliche, sorry), at least a little bit. I know what it feels like to at least have 1 and 1/2 years work thrown out because not enough people wanted it, instead of just dealing with stupid people (though there are more then enough of those that work at publishers, I can tell you that). Hope things look up for you soon! (hmm... no thumbs up smily...)

"Come back here you happy person with a good job!"

Dang it, they caught up with me again, later!

SmkViper zooms off again

Yes, good luck with the job situation MrWhat. Sometimes I wish I had half the comedic genius you seem to posess. (Yup, that's a blatent suckup ^_^V)

And Ifurita, I wonder what you would think of my Belldandy and Peorth (only very short implied cameo, so far) in my fan-fic: .hack//GODDESS - a Oh! My Goddess, .hack//SIGN crossover fic. Feel free to drop a review on the ff.net site too! (No one ever reviews my stuff *sob*)<shameless self-promotion mode off> ;D

Oh, and welcome to the forums nescaro! Do you have a link to that fic of yours? I'm always interested in more EL fan fics since it seems like there aren't enough of them out there.

Ahhh, working in retail. That brings back some fond memories.

Or not... (well, except for making fun of stupid customers) ;D

Customer: (pointing at computer monitor) "So this is the computer, and this" (pointing at computer) " is the modem?"

Me: *bangs head on nearby wall*

My DVD collection? I think it would rival Ifurita's in size, though not necesarily the same content. I would post what I've got but I don't have it near me at the moment ^^; As for Fruits Basket, I've been meaning to pick that up for a while, until I noticed that they are coming out with a box set for it in another month or so, so I think I'll wait til that comes out. I think the most money I ever spend in one go was for the entire Saber Marionette set (J, J again, and J to X in one big box). Worth every penny though ;D

Been playing FFXI off and on since it came out in the US, wish I had more time to dump into it, but got to pay the bills somehow (and finish my massive backlog of console RPGs XO) I've got two characters, one on Seraph and one on Cerberus. Both Mithra, one is a theif and one is a white mage. Not only does Mithra allow me to actually play a real cat-girl, but they are good at almost any class ;D

Been a fan of your stuff for at least a few months now MrWhat, though I guess I should post a few reviews on FF.net to prove it ;)

Now if only I could convince you to continue Mara's Worst Nightmare... ;D

A Fujisawa platformer vs. Bugrum? I would play that :D

I am also a fan of RPG games, though they seem to have this distressing trend into making "action-RPG" games recently. Sure, they're fun and all, but now EVERYONE is making an "action-RPG" What happened to my fav turn-based combat systems? :bawl

I'm currently trying to beat Xenosaga after putting in over 100 hours in the .hack series of games. Both are quite good, though the combat in .hack gets repetitive after 80 hours or so.

Not sure why you think the quality of FF games is decreasing Wayne. Sure 6 (jp) was genius, but they followed it up with that mediocre 7 game and then 8. 9 was good, liked the story with that one. And Square finally redeemed themselves with 10 and 10-2 in my opinion. Getting a lot of play time out of 11 now, but I'm kinda worried about the combat system in 12 as it looks to be another one of those "action-RPG" games that I'm am currently tired of.

And if you guys ever want a turn-based, japanese-style RPG for the computer, pick up Anachronox if you can find it. That game (once patched) is PURE GENIUS. ^_^V
