Bingo!  You get a cookie!

That's how some newspapers work.  They want to give you a sensational story vs. the truth for more papers/publicity for them.

Here's the sad truth, little Lar...

If you told the whole, true story, it does not sell as well as giving a "SHOCK!" headline.

Here's a made up story...

"A man was found walking down the street talking on his cell phone paying no attention to the lights.  A car came around the corner going 5 miles faster than the 35 MPH speed limit.  The man walked down the crosswalk and gets struck by the car.  He was pinned underneath the car."

Here's what someone else would like to put up...

"A man was walking down the street when a deranged driver going much too fast struck this responsible person, sending him underneath the car."

Which do you think would sell better?

Don't worry, Makoto doesn't get it, either.

Excuse me, Mr. Jinnai...

I know you have all the answers on why you don't dress up like Makoto, but...

Can you please explain THIS incident?

...

Amazingly enough, you did not grasp the concept here.

She's trying to think what Jinnai would do in this situation.

The picture is a legitiment cel from OAV2.

Possibly the happiest Kalia I have seen over the three days of searching for cel pictures, I just added the sun for emphasis.
