Title: Quickie: Japanese Reader, Cat name? (MrWhat, etc.)

Rune's cat.  One of those Japanese-artist fanart sites named it "Nora".  I was curious if the scribbles on the page say anything about that.  If it's possible to read that at all.

Best guess on the top line is oushitsu no neko [unreadable] sumimasen - "The ruling family's cat.  Sorry for [?]"

The note by the top left cat's ear is mimi [unreadable] su - "Ear [?]"

FWIW, I couldn't make "Nora" out of any of the unreadable bits.  Sorry, I'm not too good with the handwritten stuff yet  ^^;

That's okay, I just wanted you to take your best shot.  But even so, "The ruling family's cat" suggests there isn't a name bestowed to it.

Appears to be [kanji]matte-sumimasen.  "I'm sorry for waiting".  But that one undecipherable -- UGH!

Hello to you, long-time-no-see.  :P  Heh, "Sorry for waiting".  Probably some random apology from the artist to ... someone who was ... waiting for it.

Yeah, he was apparently procrastinating about something....

...no experience there, really!  ^^;

"Su" is just ... a phoentic, isn't it?  :P  That'd be like saying "d" in English and calling it a word.

Su does mean vinegar or nest! I looked it up in my new Japanese-english dictionary! ;D

I love book shops.
