Title: Real live anime girl, at your service!
Post by: Xel on April 03, 2004, 02:05:35 am
That's right, friends-- I've dyed my hair purple. Honest-to-god Ayeka purple.

I have purple hair, I'm seventeen, I go to a private school. I have transcended the reality of this world. Adieu, my friends... adieu...

And now, there seems to be a tentacle lurking about my feet. I'll be... going... over... here now. *RUNS*

Ahaha. I am indeed!

I'm curious about my state of mind at the time I posted that, though... it was 1am and I decided to forgo sleeping for the ACT today in favor of writing a BDSM fic.

But I've said too much... :-X

My tentacle? Well, that's quite an assumption there, sir. Are you proposing that I, a young, nubile purple-haired schoolgirl such as myself, am able to control the whims of tentacles, my natural, mortal enemy? Surely you jest. START JESTING.

*makes subtle little hand-signals behind her back...*

I'm not suggesting anything, Loyal Lacky #8. I'm just saying that you shouldn't just leave your toys lying all over the place for innocent bypassers to trip over them!

**gets encroached upon by tentacles**

GAH! Kill it! Kill it!

**starts stamping tentacles**

I know. I have one, but I'm in terrible light, so it's not very helpful... I want to take one outside, but I can't crop or resize it (which I'd need to do, my camera takes pics that are damn huge.) because Photoshop just decided to die for no reason whatsoever the other night. *deep sigh* It just means I'm gonna have to download another crack reinstall it again...

At this point in my life, I'd settle for anything other than Encroaching Gray in my hair. Jeez, even my chest hair is turning silver.

I console myself by looking in the mirror and saying, "You know, it's very similar to George Clooney", but that just ain't cuttin' it one bit. :)

Wooo! Grav! Sorry *leaves*

I'm trying to convince my mum to let me get my hair cut like Ryuichi's.

I'm getting a Kumagorou cake for my B-day! Which is next week! Presents! Wooo!

... I don't think Fuji realizes he overwrote the picture that accompanied his sig, however.   ^^;

You overwrote it, not me.  Fortunately for you, however, the old copy of the site I still have contains that picture.  I've restored it to an avatar slot you weren't using and ... well, there you go.

FYI, that picture is actually from an AIM DirectConnect session me and Neil had a long time ago that I saved...

Yes, I am great.

Oh, and I can best you, Xel. I HAVE A REAL LIFE EVANGELION AT MY DISPOSAL.

Or at least, an Evangelion action figure.

If I could win one on eBay. ;.;

For the record, I had actually meant the last picture to be Shayla grabbing Knuckles tail, not spanking.  That was Neil's wonderful interpretation.  :P

But you know, when I wrote "No Thanks for the Memories" under the nom de plume of "Seto of Jurai", the ONE THING people kept commenting on (positively) was the scene where Afura was spanking Shayla.

I'm not sure how to interpret the enthusiastic response to that idea, nor am I sure I want to even try...

Be glad your hair is staying around long enough to turn grey, JSM.  Adcock has met me in RL, and it's becoming obvious my job requires I wear a hard hat all day.  >:(  They say one ought to look to one's maternal grandfather to determine the future for one's hair (or in my case, lack thereof.)  My grandfather was bald by the time he was 35, though he lived to be 98.  I'll take the longevity, thanks.  ;)

Anyone heading to the heartland heading for Anime Iowa in September?  I should have a weekend pass from my signal school in Kansas City so I'd like to attend.

And Monica Rial is one of my favorite VAs.  Her portrayal of Izumi in Princess Nine easily made her one of my all time favorite characters.

At least you didn't cover Shayla in maple syrup twice, and then varnish her to the floor.  Sometimes I really, really regret letting my id run free in the Round Robin.

Speaking of which, if we were ever foolish enough to start another interactive fan fiction project, this topic would be a good premise.  Cue Rod Serling...

We could call it:  Ex-Xel Saga.  (rim shot)

I don't bitch about the grey to my cousin, who was bald by 20. He recently gave up and just shaved his entire head; subsequently, my wife went on and on about how sexy it made him look. :o

I'll be living in Omaha by then, so it's a decent bet that I'll make it (assuming, of course, RL doesn't get in the way).

*hysterical giggling* That's... wow. Brilliance, Mr. What!

Rob. I dig the new sidepic. *former Sonic otaku* I probably have that issue lying around somewhere.

You know... I found a Robotnik/Snively fic once. Don't worry. I wet myself and passed out from the thought like I'm sure you're doing now too.

Sadly, I actually don't understand the origin other than it's Archie Sonic.  My history goes back to being a major supporting SatAM cartoon fan (where the Archie comic mucked about for most of its middle life) and writing probably one of the most highly respected and anticipated Sonic fangames ever... only to chuck it due to getting too involved with a girlfriend in the same line of politics and the relationship going sour.

I know the SatAM cartoon about 100% but only recently have taken a second look at Archie Sonic... a little bit late with over 100 issues now though.   ^^;

I have no idea if it'd mean anything to you, but I actually recently was kind of forced back into it and it's been revived as a major programming project for Nintendo's Gameboy Advance... most recently a demo was shown at the Sonic fanbase's little fangame online expo thingy.

http://bobstuffs.no-ip.com/sage/

EDIT; UPDATE: Well, I showed my one buddy who still has ties with the other community this thread and he's been kind enough to share some pivotal Archie Sonic's scanned in full.  Now I shall become mildly enlightened.  :P

Well, like any other fandom, there's always the guy-guy matching, and what better set than the two who live together?  ;)
