I still insist that the greatest websites had no need of message boards (www.segasonic.net etc), but there was a small demand, and Rob wanted to, so yeah. ;) We'll see.
Usually interested in really geeky things. El-Hazard being no exception.Although usually quiet and well mannered, I also tend to be a control freak sometimes (Jinnai agreement). I.E. If things aren't going my way in something I'm involved with, then they should be. (Had a rather recent run-in of such at college with the lead controller lady of the tech computer department machines ... didn't believe my obvious security hole in the system I was pointing out)
Saw Rob at the Moogle Cavern quoting Jinnai incorrectly, set him straight and then we started talking. Talk led to the idea of something El-Hazard-y together. This lead to the site. Bingo.
Christ! Where the hell am I? That's it with the cheap sake. I'm swearing off!
Oh yeah, posting in forums might bore me after a while... I just never find interesting threads.
At least I can gladly note you've seen the English dub of El-Hazard.
Oh, may I ask, did you happen to attempt registration under an email name of "annkay" or some such? I have a defunct registration in here from a German email service by that name. Can't seem to send email out that-a-way.
It took all of my 2 years of high school German to translate the email error ;)
Misc : Schlock, aren't you a relative of Phyria?
welcome, it's getting really international here. *_*
Actually I was emailed about it. *shrug*
Yes, and for some reason you were one of my favorite responders. I like your personality.
Who or what is Phyria?
So, there are absolutely no anime tapes (and stuff) available in Hungary?
Age
14
... That makes me male, straight, and not interested.
now I'm stuck being our Jappy translator guy, only problem is I get too much homework for my own good.
the average SAT score is about 1500. Among Juniors. Ouch
Jason Bertovich's excellent El Hazard
Precisely why I have posted a link to your magnificent site over on the Yahoo! forum. I was hoping both communities might enjoy meeting each other.
I'm a big Jinnai fan.
By accident. I was looking for a different El-Hazard site, and it wasn't there, and this cute little page came up with a million little pics of Jinnai on it and it laughed at me. So I went here and fell in love with it!
Misc: If Jinnai were running for MY student council, I'D vote for em! He's the reason I watch El-Hazard!
I'm also hoping to meet someone who is willing to help me out on my RPG, if you're interested, e-mail me!!! Please!!! *needs help*

Misc: I'm a Fatora fanboy
I've also developed some fan-fic'y stuff in my head about a reason we could all feel bad for Fatora, but that's only on to-be-shared status at the moment.
I had Fatora as a desktop wallpaper thing for a while, and then late one night past the point of where your brain is still stable, she was looking real good to me. (Due to various events and akward employment, I've been out of the dating circle for over a year now, and I'm getting real ...
... yeah)
But actually, after that, me and Neil discussed how Fatora and Jinnai are some of the most entertaining characters due simply to their absolute worst traits that SHOULD be taken negatively. :p
Shortly after I had started at the local college here, they were having an election for a new student council president. I actually half-concidered what it'd be like to run with a Jinnai persona, or at the very least distribute Jinnai advertising as if Jinnai WERE running for president there...
It's true, she practically made OAV2 and Alternative World. And I'd advise taking Alt World Ep 13 with a pinch of salt... the entire cast were out of character in that episode, not least Alielle and Fatora (I think I'll save my Episode 13 rant until a more appropriate time, though).
(I think I'll save my Episode 13 rant until a more appropriate time, though).
And I have a feeling Afura was enjoying it the most.
How did you find El-Hazard online?: I was just checking how a link to Jinnai fan club (long time not updated) ... Then, I decided to look at forum there, even knowing it's supposed to be dead. Then, found a message advertising this site and decided to check it 8)
Once he've shown me his new download. It was a Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot clip... so it was a love from first glance. Jinnai, before all, I mean. :)
Non-anime interests: ... Multimedia Compression algorithms...
Last good series completed: Hand Maid May.
To the great Jinnai: i never thanked you for the extra info, so domo arigato, rob-san. and stupendous work on the EHPC game.
...Cinepak decoding so I can run them off the Saturn disc or something...
...Of course, I bought it mostly for the sake of the same English VA of Jinnai...
But on the Perfect Blue DVD, in the Extras section, they give a neat little commentary from Bob, talking about his character. He really does sound like Jinnai! Not only that, but he has an impressive vocabulary, and sounds like quite the intellectual.
I've heard that he makes numerous appearances at these things, so I will keep you all posted as far as that, if you want.
(LOL, at my last con, I got hit on by the guy who dubbed Duo from Gundam Wing.
Any chance you could get me a recording of that? Assuming you have a PC-installed DVD drive, some sound cards have the capability of recording their audio output, so that's what I'm getting at. Not incredibly important, but I am curious now. :p
I'd appreciate it, definately... I've never managed to get to one of those things in my life.
I got hit on by the guy who dubbed Duo from Gundam Wing.
SQUEE!!! SCOTT MCNEIL! ^_^ I dont' think any girl would mind getting hit on by him!
... I love that costume... ;D
He seems to really like pretty ladies with big boobs, so I'm sure he'd be happy to hit on you too! ;D
Men can be such pigs...
Now, enough of that, you're falling off-topic.
You just need to work out self-esteem issues!
on the El Hazard Saturn Game!
And then I sit out on this lounge area, and hear couples fighting about stupid things, or once listened unwantingly to a girl in tears over some guy openly calling her annoying...
I'm probably only going to find one of those in a tech class that I happen to be in, or a job sometime later in life.
El Hazard, Kimagure Orange Road, Gunbuster, Giant Robo, Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, Slayers, Love Hina, Vandread, Hellsing, Betterman and so many more......
HORRAY, someone who actually cares! Seriously, that's great to hear, when I'm only a few steps away from completing my Windows PC reverse-engineer port.
And our trend of people over 25 continues...
HAH! A Slayers Fan in our midst! Finally! Welcome to our odd group Saucer! And may I start off by saying"Zelgadis and Amelia suck as a couple! Long Live Lina!!!"
Sankyuu! ^_^ Heh heh, well I find it a bit alarming, the number of fanatical Lina + Zelgadis people. But that's OK, just let's not start going on about Xellos + Filia. ^^;;;
you're working on a Mac OS port next, right?
Well, it makes sense, they're both so smart, but enough of that. I see no reason why Xellos and Filia work. Last year at the con, my sis and I dresses as Xel and Filia, and so I will forever be known to the Nan-Desu-Con-Glomp-Club as "Filia".
I'd gladly do it... if I owned a Mac that had a processor better then the ol' 68030.
Nothing against Macs except that other than porting for other people I have absolutely no use for them... I need a cheap one somewhere or somebody to give me their now uneeded Mac... as long as it's something relatively modern instead of Geyer Printing's throw-outs.
Anyway, went through eBay, came across a 300MHz G3 machine for about $200... I won't be purchasing anytime soon, but I'm giving you my general level of expectance. I'm thinking 233MHz or more is a safe number for porting, but I also don't know the programming stuff available for Macs, so unless I'm getting one free or really cheap, there's a bit of research I'm going to have to do first.
I wasn't really serious about no one caring
*stops hugging the entire room and concentrates on hugging the girls in the room*
Please. Or you could private mail me the answer? Or...no...or maybe...no...or what about...no...I know!...hang on, i don't.
Have you ever seen Lord of the rings? If you have, you know Arwen? People say i look like her.
LOL! Actually, I was just playing around. I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.
Neat! Yes, I've seen Lord of the Rings, and Arawen is very beautiful! My friends say I look like Galadriel in drag... Stupid friends...
Galadreil is really beautiful too. I think she's dead cool. She's like one of my fave characters. Next to Legolas and Frodo!
Depending on how i feel, my eyes change colour very slightly.
My hairs the same colour and I'm probably about the same height (5'8'') roughly anyway.
Nah, no way! Legolas and Frodo are okay, but I've always gone for that sexy beast GIMLY!!! Yeah baby!!!
Wow, you're 12 and you're 5'9"?? ... I feel short...
Wow, you're 12 and you're 5'9"?? ... I feel short... :P
I dont thinkyou look like a freak. I think I look like a freak. ;D :-[
...and how in the world can you make an exclaimation point with only your nose?
misc.- Erm...I'm an elf. I'm the same as Rosh, (bisexual)
LOL, yeah, I'm a lesbian, with the exception of Heath Ledger and Orlando Bloom and other male heroes like that. Oridnary men just don't make the cut.
1) I don't care about Sports
2) Common namebrand clothing is a "bleh"
3) Collecting El-Hazard, Creating El-Hazard... EL-HAZARD.
4) I have an entire in-house network and a personal webserver... wait, looks like I'm just a geek.
Har, I'm about as unordinary as they come. It shall be noted in bullet points.

WV (Cultural black hole)
Suddenly, Saucer has decided to talk to me. I'm worried. Anyone else worried?
Status: Not single. Definately not single.
Location: Pennsylvania... who's biggest export is YOUTH!
Nationality: Unfortunately german, but proud to be born in poland!
Personality: friendly, quiet ( but funny with the right people around), lightly melancolic and with great sence of humor....oh! I forgot: lightly forgetfull
music (my friends and I do freestyle rap and beatbox)
Another interesting thread between us... we seem to share these similarities that aren't exact copies. (i.e. "20 May 20" vs. "21 May 21") I'm not directly polish, but I share most of the traits from my mother, who came from a very polish family.
Really?! That's fresh executor! I remember a couple months back I was at a party and me and two other people were out front on the sidewalk switching off between beatbox and freestylin'. It was hella old school.
