I was out at Animaxis last night in search of something else and browsed the E-H section just out of curiosity.

Whoa nelly. Pages upon pages of cels.

I'd buy cels... but then my sister told me stuff.   ^^;

All of her points are very valid, too. I've seen firsthand what will happen to cels over time no matter what you do.

A friend of mine has a cel from the Ralph Bakshi movie "Wizards". He had it professionally framed and has tried very hard to take good of it over the past twenty years.

And it's still slowly disintegrating. Shame to see, really.

Well, the key phrase my sister spoke -- "Cels weren't meant to last forever."  They are just production tools.  :P

Almost completely off-topic: Anybody seen "Otaku no Video?" The cell-thief bits are highly amusing. ;D
