At any rate, this story must be rather old. Notice the marked abscence of certain "key details?"
And the second story.... yeah OK. Whatever. Kinda freaked me out at first though. When I saw OVA Iffy, I was like "HERESY! HERESY!!!"
Enlighten me; how does this indicate age?
Right. Â Compared to she-males, it suddenly went to something so incredibly, relatively plain. Â Although I personally found it relieving to go to something so normal after the initial shock value wore off.
Up until the last couple years, the Japanese goverment banned the depiction of public hair and genitalia in nearly everything; anime, manga, photography, pornography, etc....... Thus, the frequent use of composite editing (the infamous "fuzzy dot"), highly artistic depictions of penetration shots and climax and things like dark-skinned Shayla with a blank white outline that somewhat resembles a phallus in shape (yes, kiddo isn't the only one around here who watches hentai). This also created the "panty shot" phenomenon, that is synonymus with anime. Since artists couldn't depict the female anatomy in enough detail to satisfy male curiosity, they relied on panty shots. Things just evolved from there. And these days, they can be quite detailed, even in anime aimed at a younger audience.
How could you do that to us, Rob? What the HELL possessed you to put up such printed evil?! *sobs*
Incidentally Rob, where did that Rune avatar you're using come from? It's not bad in itself, except the artist used the the wrong mouth for her, so to speak. That long, wavery mouth line is usually reserved goofy and lecherous type male chara. Unless he had some creative re-characterization in mind.
Also, were you able to discover the artist's name or get somebody to translate it?
Another doujinshi.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3236109349&category=1345I'd buy this one ... except ...1) It's $24 starting AND2) It features another anime I don't care about AND3) The drawing style is obviously funkyActually, ultimately, it's just #1 that's keeping me from buying it. Â Well, #1 in conjunction with 2 or 3. Â $24 is a lot to ask of me at this time... although for sheer lack of doujinshi availability, I'm half tempted to splurge. But I mean... look at Jinnai. Â He's pulling Nanbara-esque positions on me here! ;p
Stop right there. Â I wish I had somebody to just randomly tranlsate Japanese for me. Â Â But I don't. Â Fortunately for you, however, the eBay seller kindly provided the name. Â It doesn't appear to be who you thought, though. Â Also, for the record, when I'm looking to buy doujinshi's, I don't think the first thing I'm looking at is the artist's name. Â
Oh, hey.  The one I had intended to bid on this Sunday just got relisted.  I wonder why they unlisted it in the first place... I'm not entirely sure, but I think it was cheaper before... ;p  They changed the preview picture too.  It used to include a shot of Afura's expressions of ... activity.  Any chance there's an eBay policy that might've hit them for that?
That's Alliele, BTW. Not Afura. You can tell by her hair and clothing (what's left of it).
As for the art style, yeah it is ....umm, different. Then again, some of the stories in El Hazard Anthology Comic are pretty weird looking too. Â
