Well, when I was six, this guy said he thought I was eight. When I was eight, the same guy said he thought I was ten. When I was ten, he said that he thought I was twelve. I haven't gone near that shop since.  ;)

I get loads of people thinking I'm older than I look.

Like when I was in Primary 5, everyone kept askingme what year I was in. Then when I told them I was in P5, they got a huge shock. Even my aunt used to ask me that.  :P

People are always wondering my age;  I tell them I'm in HS, they think I'm a Sophomore, then they guess Junior for safety, and then they guess Freshman correctly, because I'm not dazed out enough to be a senior at Jyyyyeffferson.

That wouldn't happen to be Jefferson HS of West Virginia, would it? Cuz I go to Musselman (and if you are form the aforementioned Jefferson, you'll know what I'm talking about.  ;) ) All I'm saying is, if we do live so close by to each other, why the hell haven't we met yet?!?

Oh yes, and to stay on topic for a change, I'm turning 18 on September 5, upon which I'm moving out of my parents house quickly and without a moment's hesitation.  ;D I'll live with my college friend in Denver (actually, he's now in Wyoming State University or something, but his family likes me ) And soon after, I plan to meet a wealthy bachelor and suck him for every penny he's worth, while I run off to Scotland and jump around with Lar ( I don't know what kind of pastimes they have in Scotland, but jumping around seems safe) And live happily ever after in my control-freak-free home.  ;D That's plan A. There is no Plan B as of yet, but I'm hard at work on it. Keep ya all posted !  ;D

Jumping around....specifically what kind of jumping around?  ;)

We don't have any pastimes...*Lar shakes slightly as the knife at her throat comes closer.*
"Say what I want you to say, and no harm will come to you!"
*Lar hits away scary man with knife, and starts talking of her own accord*

Well, pastimes....we stick to school, because we have no choice. We go on the net, watch TV, talk, talk, talk, talk through important subjects at school like Science and English, talking through maths would be dangerous.
In fact, if you came here, make friends ASAP, because without them you're lost.

Well, Lar lied.

We run about the hills, in loin cloths scaring tourists and counting bluebells.  ;)  :P

No, not really, we go hunting wild haggis.

Haggis, or haggi (plural) are small creatures, with two legs, one shorter than the other so they can run around the side of hills.

They are endangered now, so they are only caught and eaten during special times, Burns Day being the most famous.

For some strange reason, beyond me, some tend to think that Haggi are a type of bird...

I worry.  ;)

No Stix, what they failed to tell you is that they really are wearing skirts.

The men of Scotland are too "manly" to admit that they wear skirts.

Therefore:

"It's not a dress! It's a kilt!"

Yes, if we're going to discuss Haggi and the and the habits of people in scotland, we should go into a different post.

I'm as good as 21 and trying to finish my research report. I'm majoring in chemical engineering.

I hold a degree in electrical engineering though I currently work as a very specialized electrician (a signalman for a large Eastern US railroad.)
