Actually, to be honest, I thought of at least two or three possibilities just by looking at it.  O_o  My brother comes up with some very strange imagery when armed with megabytes of clipart.

Aye, it's a good picture, but I see you've all been paralyzed by it.

...

Why do I get the feeling that we're being led to certain conclusions with some of these...?  :P

Especially just after that H doujinshi story with those three characters, right?  But I resisted the temptation.

Oh, it took me awhile.  But yes, I was surprised to get in first.

If manipulated images will be included now, there's A Certain Image that's just begging to be used.  Rob, and Sarah, will know what I'm talking about.

BTW, the #109 caption "Keep passing the open windows" was a quote from the book The Hotel New Hampshire, and the title of a song by Queen that was based on that book.  Since Makoto was "contemplating," I was going for a "contemplative" caption, instead of humor.  But, I don't know if that was too obscure, or if everyone got the reference and thought it sucked anyway.

It WAS too obscure for me, but that's okay.  Overall, the picture failed.

I think any picture that fires my imagination to write a caption that's fucked up and/or funny is a success. ^^; The latest is one of the most whacked out ones I've seen yet. Heh heh

I must admit, these new collages are fun.  But do you think we should require a few "real" shots in between the collage types?  I mean, the collage ones certainly add some major new situation types, but using real shots are better for making a new situation out of an old one.

Whaddya think?

Yeah, a mix of different types is probably the best way to go.

Yes, I'd like to see a mix of altered and unaltered images.  There's lots of great captures in your library that haven't been used yet.  And maybe it's just me, but all of the altered images so far have been more difficult to captionate than the unaltered ones.

As far as new situations, for my part, feel free to mix things up even more.  I wouldn't mind seeing EH characters interacting with characters from other anime, and such.  And we haven't seen Jinnai in the DeLorean yet.  Or in the TARDIS, for that matter.

I can easily imagine a photoshop work showing Ryoko vs Shayla Shayla

or

Ifurita, Ifurita, Ifreeta vs Washu, Tsunami Tokimi
heheh, the latter ones are real goddesses

or well...

Ifreeta vs Mihoshi?
(um, I think they'll just spend time chatting and enjoying ice cream)

The only thing that worries me when it comes to actually crossing characters from different series is that, well, there's a chance people won't know them and the jokes will be lost.  (Not that that doesn't happen anyway sometimes, but still.)

Take me, for example.  I've watched very few of the popular animes.  I wouldn't spot most characters from Tenchi, Evangelion, Oh My Goddess... you name it, I likely haven't seen it.  I've only really seen the obscure stuff like El-Hazard sort of is.
