Props to Rob for scanning these. Very nice stuff. A couple of questions:

1) How big are the laser discs? I've always been under the impression that they're the size of huge album sized records, but you have appeared to have scanned them in. Meaning that you either have a huge scanner or... I dunno. The LD is smaller?

and

2) Any more scans to come? ; )

1) They are about the size of a full-sized old record.  Amazingly large for something that really doesn't hold that much video data.

To scan them (and the packaging etc.) we only have a regular legal-size scanner.  So... Tim carefully scans parts and puts them together in the Photoshop-imitating, open-source software known as GIMP.

2) More are on the way.  But since they're such a bitch to do, Tim's taking his time.  Note I only say Tim is doing it.  ;P

...unless you have one of those dual-laser LD players that they started selling towards the end of the LD's North American lifespan.  ^^; Incidentally, they still manufacture and sell LDs in Japan last I heard. And with the price anime goes for in Japan, I can see otaku hanging onto those 12" discs for a long time! Reminds me of the creepy otaku guy in the Oh My Goddess manga.
