Well, it's a trick.  It's hard to verify you can translate Japanese when most Japanese El-Hazard materials have never had an English equivalent to begin with.  

I'll have to think about a good way to check your ability... but in the meantime, how good do you think YOU are?  Then I can know what to throw at you.

Heh, I am actually in second semester japanese in college right now.... but dang its a hard language. So many Kanji... and conjugations for that matter. Hopefully I can actually translate stuff someday.

Rob, a good way to check may be to ask her to translate some CD booklets or something. *pause* Well, maybe. Honestly, I just want those translated for whatever reason.

Aye, that it (he?) does. I mean, I wish I could grow a second head out of my ribs whenever I get hit by a nuclear bomb!  

And as for testing his translation abilities, have him open "War and Peace" and start from page one.
