Saucer... Have you been translating Rammstein tracks and then translating again into l337? Or is it just me who does that?

:wumpscut: is none other than the most evil hard-electro act in the scene. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Well, Lar, considering your fave bands include Savage Garden and The Goo Goo Dolls, well, no, no you don't...  ;)

Hmmm.....I heared that translation before. (AMV Rammstein - du hast - X the movie  ;)) The fact is that it may be a little wrong.  ^^;

Du hast means You have. And so it is written in the lyrics.
While Du hasst means you hate

Therefore the text should be:

You...
You have...
You have me...
You have me...
You have asked me to say....
You have asked me to say....
You have asked me to say....
And I did not reply.

Ok, conceded that THIS doesn't sound that cool as the other translation. So who gives a f***!  ^^;

What's that MrWhat?! Did you say something about My Bloody Valentine? I can't hear you with all that reverb and flanging!!

Oi, :wumpscut: is German too. And let's not forget about Funker Vogt! Covenant isn't German, but sometime release German-language albums. VNV Nation sometimes titles their instrumentals in German for some reason. Wait a minute, are we talking about Industrial music or Germans? Or both? Anybody like Skinny Puppy?

Apparently it has a double meaning. *Nods knowedgably.*
It's listed here -> http://herzeleid.com/en/lyrics/sehnsucht#du_hast

Apparently, it's a play on German wedding vows. Yeah.

I just got a Rammstein album (Live Aus Berlin), so, I'm uber-happy, and listening to it all the time...

Not a fan of Skinny Puppy, as such... but I'm a big fan of Cevin Key and Edward Ka-Spel's band Tear Garden.  Mr. What strongly recommends "The Last Man To Fly" and "Crystal Mass."

The first song on "Crystal Mass" ("Lament") is another good candidate for an El-Hazard AMV, I think.

Tear Garden is cool. Speaking of Edward Ka-Spel, you like Legendary Pink Dots MrWhat? I have a live video of them from the early 90s, it's just Edward, the keyboard player and that swedish guy that plays all the horns. Pretty sparse line-up. A couple years ago they were headlining some show over in Berkeley, and Edward threw a fit and made them kick half the bands off the line-up because he didn't like them. He kind of has a swell head, but LPD really do put on some fantastic live shows.

Uh, I think I've got a couple of LPD/Ka-Spel CDs around here somewhere.  Haven't played them for years.  Sorry, we're pushing the limits of my l33t band sk1lz  ^^;

I've been amused by conspiracy theories that, after Syd Barrett was kicked out of Pink Floyd, he migrated to the continent and changed his name to Edward Ka-Spel.  Their singing voices are eerily similar, at times.

But Tear Garden is, like, the ideal combination of the best aspects of Skinny Puppy and LPD, for me.  I have been tempted to pick up Cevin Key's solo albums.  Do you know what they're like, generally speaking?
