Fave NHL Team?

Anyone got a fave NHL hockey team?

St. Louis Blues.

Because we so enjoy getting our hopes built up and having them utterly destroyed in the first round.

Kinda like the Cubs when you get down to it.

Although given how close I live to Chicago I need to keep my Yzerman jersey in the closet lest I risk being mugged!  Ah well, Chelios saw the light.  And the money.

SOMEONE from the Showalter clan will undoubtedly pledge their support to the Penguins, though.

I would usually put in a plug for my alma-mater's hockey team in a discussion about hockey, though they've sucked rocks for so many seasons now I'm wondering if I'm even going to see them away at Notre Dame this year.  Lake Superior State Univeristy Lakers, NCAA champs '88, '92 and '94.

The Red Wings and whoever plays the Hurricanes.

Carolina's owner is the CEO of the computer firm I used to work for.  Yeah.  The one that made me fire myself after I'd laid my team off.

Yeah I always liked the Penguins... though they have been disappointing me a lot in the last year or so....

I remember when we had 8 teams up here instead of the 6 we have now. Of course, the Winnipeg Jets left and became the Phoenix Coyotes, and the Quebec Nordiques headed to Colorado to become the Avalanche.
Ah well : / Maybe they'll make a new franchise up here someday *chuckles*

As for other teams I like, I like the Flames and the Blue Jackets (mainly out of pity   )
And I despise the Maple Leafs and the Canadians. Same goes fer New Jersey.

Toronto and Ottawa fans don't get along.. And not surprisingly neither do the teams
