A Japanese Show with over 1000 episodes, with three skits per 30 minute show.  This series has been running since 1969, but unsure if it ever ended.  Has all of the bugrom names (Katsuo , Namihei, Ikura, Masuo, Norisuke, Tarao)

- You research on companies who help build the El-Hazard Series.

Genco - a company that specialized in planning, pre-production, and investment on animation titles. They also handles merchandise planning as well. Their clients include Bandai Visual, Pioneer, Toho, and many others. Their major works are Millenium Actress, Tenchi Muyo, El Hazard, and others.

Kusanagi - an art studio specialized in background/scenery paintings for animations and video games. Their works include El Hazard, Read or Die, Sol Bianca, and others.

Last time I heard, it's still running. As are the two other longest running anime; Crayon Shin-chan and Doremon. Comedy/gag anime from the old days like the above titles and Urusei Yatsua often had two or three short stories per episode. Mainly because these titles are often based of short gag anime, some of which are only 4 panels in length.

Anyway, about the short story length, sort of the pre-runner of the "short episode" breed of anime we see alot of these days like Di Gi Charat, Galaxy Angel, Neo Ranga and Kurogane Communication eh?
