LOL Yeah what if someone broke in and stole all my anime while I was out?!

OUCH! That gotta hurt!

No one should ever steal my holy animes!!!
Or he will suffer pittyful under my vengeance  ;)

But somehow, the whole idea just seems pretentious. What Rob could do is set up a PayPal account and slap a donation button on the bottom of the page, if people want to toss a few bucks his way to off-set the cost of internet bills, etc. You see these Donation buttons on everything from discussion boards to Bit Torrent trackers. Bandwidth ain't "free" like it was a couple years ago.

Well at the moment it's even hard enough to pay my Internet bills.  :P But a good point anyway...

Belated congratulations, and many thanks for going to all this trouble for a bunch of people that you've never met.

I can't offer much advice on employment-- my expertise is limited to small custom databases, and my skill set is kinda out of date, and I've just learned that I may be unemployed myself within a few months.

I got started with Manpower.  They managed to get me a database programming gig, and it led to my first full-time job.  But if you can type, and if you can do word processing or data entry, a temp service will keep food on the table, and it may be your foot in the door.

Of course, I quit my first full-time job two years later, after it gave me a minor nervous breakdown.  But that's another story  :P

Anyways, I do hope you can keep this site going.  It looks like the message board has just had a growth spurt in the past week or two, while I was away.

Well, you got the first half (the "weird" part) right  ;)

But I have all the AL-bums, and I've seen Al live three times-- twice in Peoria IL, and the last time right here in Springfield IL.  He's even more brilliant live.
