I'm pretty sure Knuckles was brought back to life... I'll occasionally skim through the comic if I'm at a bookstore with nothing else to do.
The whole Tails thing was screwed beyond belief. Tails was supposed to be the "Chosen One" who could defeat the green Knuckles.
Then promptly got his ass kicked.
Someone [Tails' uncle or Knuckles' ancient relative ghost guy] said that Tails wasn't really Tails and that the REAL Tails was switched waaaay back in issue 56 or somewhere around there, when Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails went Super/Hyper/Turbo/Whatever.

Then it was never mentioned again as far as I know.

On the subject of the comics, anyone ever read the Knuckles comics? I have a few issues and they're actually pretty good. I've always preferred Knuckles over Sonic. And then they scrapped Knuckles' own comic and instead gave him 10 pages in the monthly Sonic comic. And then he turned green. And I believe I stated my opinions on the rest.

I will agree that the early issues were, for the most part, less than spectacular, but the series did seem to get better as it went along, in my opinion, although it still had its fair share of hits and misses. At any rate, I will give Archie credit for doing a Super Sonic vs. Hyper Knuckles installment and a Mecha Sonic vs. Mecha Knuckles issue.

And then they killed Eggman... And brought him back... And killed him again... And brought him back. And then Knuckles was all green and psycho. Then he died. Then Sonic went to another dimension, and Tails wasn't the real Tails but a different one... Yeah, it got f'ed beyond reason.

By the way, how come everything refers to him as Eggman nowadays? No one ever calls him Robotnik... Not even the games' instruction manuals.

Ah, Sonic... 3D and Sonic just don't seem to mix. SA and SA2 were fun [I never played Sonic Heroes] but they just didn't compare to the classic side scrollers. I do have many fond memories of tackling Final Rush in SA2, or trying to figure out how to beat the Egg Viper in SA1, but they don't compare to racing Metal Sonic in Sonic CD or being Super/Hyper Sonic/Knuckles/Tails [Bring back Super Knuckles, Super Tails, and the Super Emeralds Sega!! Stop giving Sonic all the glory... Even though he is the main character. >> <<]
Even the Sonic Advance games seem to be lacking something. Maybe it's the character deisgns... I'll always prefer the Sonic 3 and Knuckles designs to any newer character models. Maybe I'm just picky.

I never saw SatAM. I have however read the Archie comic based off SatAM... And it is horrid.

Non-El-Hazard Topical Discussions / Re: Weird reviews
« on: June 22, 2004, 11:27:43 am »
When it comes to reviews, it's better just to listen to opinions of those who you believe are experienced. I don't have many stories on ff.net, but most of the ones for my Digimon Tamers fic are simply "thnk god ths wsnt ryo/rika!!!11" Why can't people learn to WRITE? T_T At least say "Thank God this story was not a Ryo and Rika coupling fic, as there are far too many poorly written stories of that kind on ff.net"

What annoys me the most is when someone gets flamed for leaving a review that only offered constructive criticism. That's happened to me before with some bratty little 11 year old. >>

Lesson learned: No matter how hard you try, you can't possibly win.

You obviously don't have a clue what you're writing. Piccolo IS hot and he DOES have a dick!

As he says in Harry Potter vs DBZ, "Women fear my pickle."

www.boxtorrents.com has all three series AND 1 GB worth of music if you want any of that... I would advise reading their rules first, however.

Didn't Makoto say something along the lines of "I feel that El-Hazard is where we really belong." somewhere in Alternative World? So maybe they were just "meant" to be there and no ill effects would come to them.

Of course, I still don't know why none of the Wanderers seemed to miss home at all and never had any thoughts of going back.

Ah yes, the OS girls. I've known about them for a while-- 95 is my favorite.
They were just created by crazy Japanese people with no life, so no, there is no actual doujinshi to my knowledge.

What will the Japanese roll out with next?

There was a similar thing for those who are interested-- Gundam girls.

Hm, interesting results. I wish I had seen the voting topic... I would have loved to contribute my opinions.
I'm surprised Card Captor Sakura never made it on the list [unless it was and I overlooked it]. That show is truly a masterpiece... It has bits of everything. Hooray CLAMP.

I ended up with a fortune cookie today at lunch--
Submission will help you greatly[or something like that, can't remember exactly]-- in bed.

I can just see an adult manga series springing from the ideas in these. And at the end of each chapter, a drawing of a broken fortune cookie with the fortune the chapter is based on!

... That is brilliant! Think of the money you could make off that! o_o;;

Does anybody know either how to take a screen shot of a dvd while its playing? (because you can’t print screen) Also does anybody know how to make an .avi video clip from a dvd? This could be some help as I try to put some screenshots into the game. Thanks

What program do you use to play the DVD?

You can't make an avi clip directly from a DVD. You'd have to rip the episodes from the DVD onto your computer and then use a splitter.
If you know what clips you want to use and what episodes they are in, I might be able to help you there.
I also know where you can get a splitter, but there's only a 7 day trial, so don't get it until you're positive you know what clips you want. I'll get the link in a second.

Here is the splitter. It's very easy to use.

I have a song of theirs, I believe it's called "Sara" [Most of the text is Japanese, so I can't tell the title[.
If you want me to send, I shall. Just drop me an IM on AOL Instant Messenger.

can i somehow get the BGM from EHPC?

I'm pretty sure there are programs that let you rip music from games. I know there are some to do so from PS games. Try digging around some.

*Meanders in from the shadows* This site really is a nice place... And the forums are nice too, though I haven't really posted much [never, really >> <<].
So... yeah... Good job to the creators. *Wanders back into shadows, tripping over a rock*
