WOW! O_O And here I thought I was the only Manabe fan left!
OK OK it's formulaic...your basic "mirth and mayhem of a warrior princess with horns" repeated three times, but it works for me. Manabe is a master of telling a story such that it passes from silly to sentimental and back again in the space of about two and a half pages. Any of you who have read "Outlanders" (one of the first Dark Horse Comics / Studio Proteus manga I started collecting in 1989) "Caravan Kidd" or "Drakuun" can vouch for me.
