Title: Newbie and also a little help...?

Hello,

I've been always a big El Hazard fan, but I've recently rewatched the first OVA and finally bought the last manga volume. I was actually surprised at how much I still like the series.

Anyway, what I've been meaning to ask is: can you find the battle theme that plays when Shayla appears first and then when Ifurita attacks Roshtaria on any of the El Hazard OSTs? (Not to be confused with Shayla's fanfare, I have that one.)
It's not on the Daizenshuu collection at any rate.

Ah! Funny that you mention this one, because it's in the Alternative World OST (http://www.el-hazardonline.net/El-Hazard/wiki/index.php?title=Alternative_World:_Original_Soundtrack)!
I know... I was really surprised when I listened to the CD for the first time...  :)
It's the 13th song:  Honoo No Action - Shayla's Theme

I never figured out why it wasn't part of the Daizenshuu collection (http://www.el-hazardonline.net/El-Hazard/wiki/index.php?title=El-Hazard_6CD_Boxset) in the first place...

Yeah, that choice is pretty illogical since it was one of the earliest El Hazard tracks. I would have never figured it out that they put it on the Alternaitve World OST...

My guess is that they forgot about it when they made the 6 CD boxset (http://www.el-hazardonline.net/El-Hazard/wiki/index.php?title=El-Hazard_6CD_Boxset).  :P
