Title: McDonalds does sandwiches?
Post by: Shaylas Raven on December 18, 2004, 06:49:01 am
On the 15th, McDonalds Canada started selling 6 types of toasted deli-style sandwiches.

I was kinda shocked, cause I went to McDs the day they were unveiled, and I hadta take a second look. Never really thought McDs would go the Subway/Quiznos route  ^^;

Surprisngly, they are actually good. Made fresh, just like at the other places. I love the Turkey BLT n_n V.

You can see stuff on em above.

They have em in the US, or is it just a Canada thing?

You think that's shocking, you should look at the Philippines' McDonalds. They serve chicken and spaghetti, and there are no milk shakes.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all Christians and non-Christians!  ;D

Jack-in-the-Box has sandwiches now, too.

We didn't go into McDonald's when we were in Tokyo, but apparenlty they have Teiyaki Burgers and other crazy stuff. KFC is apparently the only american franchise in Japan that doesn't feature a region-modified menu. ^^;

Seems to me that if they modified KFC's menu to be regional, they couldn't call it KFC anymore. It would have to be something like "Kentucky Fried Octopus Balls" and that just doesn't roll off the tounge as well :P
